Except tube mills, Yang Chen is also specialized in manufacturing slitting machines. Yang Chen's YC-250 auto slitting machine meets JIS standards and contains 17 machines including coil car for uncoiler, double cones type of uncoiler, coil pressure roll device, coil leveling machine shearing machine, 2 sets of loop pits, pinch roll with side guide, slitter (single slitting knife stand), 2 sets of scrap winders, tension pad, recoiler including spacers, coil car for recoiler, electrical system, hydraulic unit, pneumatic unit and safety fence. It is a round knife type of slitting machine and its applicable coil thickness and width is from 0.4 to 6.0 mm and 1,560 mm. Its space requirement is approximated 12 x 34 m.

Yang Chen uses TECO motor for YC-250 auto slitting machine because of their insistence on making great quality of machine. Slitter motor power is 25 HP DC motor with constant horse power, recoiler motor power is 150 HP DC motor with constant horse power and leveling device motor power is 60 HP 1750RPM DC motor. YC-250 slitting machine is operated using electrical system, hydraulic unit, pneumatic unit and includes accessories such as slitting knives, steel spacers for knives, PU rings for steel spacers of slitting knives, separator disc for tension pad, separator disc for recoiler and spacers for separator disc (made of electric wood) for recoiler.

A non-contact hydraulic servo Edge Guide precisely aligns the coil edge into the Slitter at all line speeds. Pushbutton adjustable Roller Guides with electronic position readouts make coil threading and tail-out quick and efficient.
